CHILDREN’S MINISTER

Robin Johnson was born in Fort Worth, TX. She was raised in a little town called Aledo. She has been a member of a Bible believing church all of her life. She decided to follow Christ at the age of 7 and promptly followed in believers baptism. She surrendered her life to missions at the age of 15. She says, “I didn’t realize at the time that my mission was going to be children. I love being there to see the light come on, so to speak.” She has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood and Development and 30+ years of experience in working with children. She has been married to David Johnson since 1999 and has three children; Dave, Savannah(husband Tyler), and Autumn(husband Tristan). She says, “I have learned the most from these three.” Now she has a new title of grandmother to 2 sweet boys. Our ministry for children here at First Baptist Azle is to equip children to be active participants in the Kingdom of God.
