ABOUT THE KID’S MINISTRY
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
All aboard the Gospel Train! We’re headed to Foundation Station!
We use a rotation model program for both services. We start together through a large group worship time. Then kids will take a train ride to two age-specific rotation posts. Each service is equal in presentation but different enough for a child to go to both services if needed. Each service allows our children to hear the bible lesson in a hands on approach in 3 different ways.
Rotation styles include:
- Science (object lessons, experiments)
- Missions (geography, local, national, international)
- Create (crafts, blocks, baking)
- Games (drills & skills)
- Puppets
- Drama
- Museum

AWANA WEDNESDAYS
6:30pm – 8:00pm
3yr(Sep. 1st) to 5th grade.
The AWANA program follows the Azle ISD school schedule.

KID’S EVENTS
We have tons of events for the Kid’s Ministry throughout the year. Everything from VBS to our Light Night Fall Festival to our Kid’s Camp and much more! Scroll down to see what events are coming up and check back as we’ll be updating it with new information!
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Your child’s safety is a top priority for us here at First Baptist Azle. All of our volunteers are members of the church and have had a background check performed on them. We have a Security Team every Sunday that makes sure the Kid’s Area and Nursery are secure. And we have a check-in process that ensures we have all the necessary information on your child and who is allowed to pick them up. For more info on our check-in process, scroll down.
Kid's Serve
Currently we have an opportunity for kid’s to serve in our Journey to Bethlehem
Kid’s Angel Choir.
Children must be enrolled in Kindergarten thru 5th grade.
CHECK-IN PROCESS
- *ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ESCORTED IN BY A LEGAL ADULT
- Not registered?
- When you walk in, the Kid’s Check-In Desk will be on your right. There will be an attendant waiting to greet you and help with registration.
- You will be asked to give some info on you and your child for things such as contact info, allergies, restrictions, etc… (Don’t worry! You will only have to do this once!)
- Now you will head to the Ipad and put the phone number associated with the child.
- You will be given 2 stickers that have matching numbers at the check-in desk. Your child will wear one and you will hold on to the other.
- Alternate Pick Up person? Your alternate needs to be on the list for pick up. They need to bring a photo ID & security sticker from the adult who dropped them off to the check-in desk. (copy of sticker on phone is permissible)
- After this, you will be escorted to the kid’s classroom.
- Pre-registered?
