We want to partner with parents! The Kid’s Ministry provides tools to both the kids and the parents to raise them up in the Lord. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
ABOUT THE KID’S MINISTRY
Foundation Station
All aboard the Gospel Train!
Foundation Station starts out with all ages together in large group worship time. Then kids will take a train ride to a thirty minute age-specific post.
5yr-2nd grade
3rd -5th grade
Each service is equal in presentation but different enough for a child to go to both services if needed.
Second service has a 5th grade specific class that digs deeper.
We use a hands on approach.
Styles include:
- Science (object lessons, experiments)
- Missions (geography, local, national, international)
- Create (crafts, blocks, baking)
- Games (drills & skills)
- Puppets
- Drama
- Bible Dig

6:30pm – 7:30pm
3yr(Sep. 1st) to 5th grade
AWANA PROGRAM
Awana is a worldwide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.
The AWANA program follows the Azle ISD school schedule.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Your child’s safety is a top priority for us here at First Baptist Azle.
- All of our volunteers are FBCA members and have a clear background check.
- There is always someone present in the hall that is CPR/AED certified.
- We have a first aid kit available at all times.
- A Security Team member is present every Sunday.

CHECK-IN PROCESS
*ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ESCORTED IN BY A LEGAL ADULT*
- When you walk in, the Kid’s Check-In Desk will be on your right. There will be an attendant waiting to greet you and help with registration.
- You will be asked to give some info on you and your child for things such as contact info, allergies, restrictions, etc… (Don’t worry! You will only have to do this once!)
- Now you will head to the iPad and put the phone number associated with the child.
- You will be given 2 stickers that have matching numbers at the check-in desk. Your child will wear one and you will hold on to the other.
- Alternate Pick Up person? Your alternate needs to be on the list for pick up. They need to bring a photo ID & security sticker from the adult who dropped them off to the check-in desk. (copy of sticker on phone is permissible)
- After this, you will be escorted to the kid’s classroom.
PRE-REGISTERED?
- Head to the iPad and put the phone number associated with the child.
- The child is only given to the person (18+yrs) with the matching sticker for security reasons.
