ABOUT THE STUDENT MINISTRY

SCHEDULE

The Student Ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30am for Bible Study and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm for a Worship Service. The goal of these meetings to dig into God’s Word, learning about how it applies to our lives, and build relationships with fellow believers in Christ.

TRIBE GROUPS

Tribe Groups are smalls groups that operate during the school year. The small groups are divided up by age and gender. The focus of Tribe Groups is to develop community and deep biblical relationship among the students. The smaller groups allow us to dig into specific topics by age and also give opportunity for more discussion among the students.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Your student’s safety is a top priority for us here at First Baptist Azle. All of our volunteers are members of the church and have had a background check performed on them.

WEDNESDAY SERIES

Let’s be real—following Jesus doesn’t mean temptation disappears. Every day, students face struggles with peer pressure, gossip, jealousy, pride, lust, and habits that can pull them away from God.

In this seven-week series, The Struggle Is Real, we’ll take an honest look at the sins and temptations students face and discover what God’s Word says about overcoming them. Through real-life examples, biblical teaching, and practical steps, students will learn how to recognize temptation, make wise decisions, and stand firm in their faith.

Most importantly, we’ll discover that our struggles don’t define us, our failures don’t have to defeat us, and God’s grace is greater than our sin.

The struggle is real, but sin doesn’t have to own you.
