ABOUT UPWARD SPORTS
PURPOSE
Upward Sports is here to provide a fun, safe place for your kids to learn sports and build their faith. Our program’s schedule is meant to help parents out with their busy lives. We have one practice and one game per week. Each season is 8-weeks long.
FAITH-BASED
We are unapologetically faith-based in our Upward Program. Our goal is to not only develop athletes, but followers of Christ. Every practice and game has a devotional with it.
FOOTBALL AND CHEER
We offer Upward Flag Football and Cheer in the Fall. Both boys and girls are welcome.
SOCCER
We offer Upward Soccer in the Spring. Both boys and girls are welcome.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
2026 UPWARD SOCCER
REGISTRATION
- League available to both boys and girls, K4-6th grade.
- The early registration cost per child is $135; after FEB 14th, the cost is $145.
- Deadline for registration is Feb 28th.
- Full uniform is provided.
EVALUATIONS
- Everyone must attend one of the evaluations. They will take place at First Baptist Azle as follows:
- Saturday, Feb 7th, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm
- Saturday, Feb 28th, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm
- ***cleats recommended
2026 SOCCER SEASON SCHEDULE
- FIRST EVALUATION: FEB 7th 1-3pm
- SECOND EVALUATION: FEB 27th 1-3pm
- COACHES MEETING MARCH 1 ST 12PM @ FBC AZLE STUDENT ROOM ** LUNCH PROVIDED
- FIRST PRACTICE: Week of March 9th
- FIRST GAME: April 4th
- PICTURE DAY: April 11th (no retakes)
- UPWARD SUNDAY: May 3RD @ 11AM
- AWARDS CELEBRATION: May 23RD
